COACH began with a daring question: What if sport could teach more than just how to play? Our partnership with the COACH team aimed to reimagine sports education by blending play, technology, and emotional intelligence, creating a digital platform that nurtures better players, coaches, and individuals.
While competitors focused on performance, COACH focused on joy — on how to enjoy the game. That shift in mindset became the foundation for a new global sports edutainment start-up model that celebrates collaboration, learning, and purpose through play.
Partnership
We worked closely with the COACH team, educators, sports bodies, and psychologists to ground the vision in both data and empathy, building a product that helps young people learn together, play together, and win together.
North Star
From the beginning, COACH’s purpose was clear: To play sports more inclusively, joyfully, and intelligently. A platform designed to improve not just performance, but confidence, connection, and well-being.
We defined three guiding principles that would inform every design, product, and partnership decision:

Voice
We built a tone of voice that reflects the energy of the game and the humanity behind it:
Positive and inclusive, speaking to all: Players, parents, teachers, and coaches. Curious and intelligent, turning expertise into inspiration. Warm and grounded, making technology feel human and accessible. It’s a voice that encourages discovery and celebrates progress over perfection.

Identity
The COACH identity needed to live at the intersection of sport, technology, and education, playful enough for young learners, credible enough for teachers, and intuitive enough for digital adoption. A design language built on movement and connection using dynamic forms, bold colours, and rhythmic layouts that feel active and alive. Colour Palette: bright and optimistic, with tonal variety to adapt across sports and audiences. Typography: modern and open, designed for clarity and confidence. Imagery: real players, peers, and legends, showing progress, not perfection.

Touchpoints
COACH was built to be experienced, not just used.
From classrooms to clubhouses, its touchpoints are designed to keep learners engaged and connected. The digital platform features interactive tutorials, playbooks, challenges, and gamified rewards. Teacher Hub: a planning and monitoring tool to support lesson design and track progress. Parent Portal: updates, insights, and shared learning experiences. Community Framework: connecting schools, clubs, and legends, creating a living, evolving ecosystem of learning through play. Every test, from early prototypes to pilot programmes, asked one question:
Does this make learning more enjoyable and inclusive for everyone involved?
Production
Once the design and system were proven, we built the full experience, from the brand toolkit to the product interface. We helped establish partnerships across sport, education, and technology, ensuring COACH would launch with credibility and momentum.
